Housing & Residence Life awards more than $275,000 in scholarship funds to residents annually. Residents may apply to more than 50 scholarship opportunities.

We've made the process even easier by linking with UKASH, the University's Awards and Scholarship hub. Just fill out one application in UKASH and answer a brief series of questions to apply to all of the scholarships you qualify for.
Timeline for the 2025-2026 Scholarship Process
The application for 2025-2026 Housing and Residence Life scholarships will be open in February 2025. All scholarship applications will be reviewed and those receiving scholarships will be notified late spring.
To be considered you must:
- Live on campus currently.
- Sign your housing contract to live on campus next year.
- Complete FAFSA or the Institutional Needs Analysis Worksheet (ISNAW) for scholarships that consider financial need.
- Apply by completing through the housing application on UKASH, the University of Kansas Awards & Scholarship Hub!
